Oradour-sur-Glane. All the villagers of this little french town were killed on the 10th of July of 1944, by a german batallion. The men were gunned down, women and children were set on fire inside the village’s church. Then, it was partially bombed to the ground. It was not rebuilt. Its ruins remain as a memorial.
